The wife and I chose Allure of the Seas for our very first cruise,it also marked our 25th anniversary,I read a ton of reviews positive and negative prior to sailing,to be honest I did not see the negative AT ALL,we were greeted by a friendly staff, all 8 days and 7 nights, there is so much to do on board this ship we could not enjoy it all,we absolutely felt our every need accommodated, the food in Windjammer,Park Cafe,Sorrento's was good enough that we only ate in main dining room once (which was also very good)we did book 3 specialty dining, which I can only comment on those,we did Chops,Rita's and The Samba Grille... Samba Grille was OUT OF THIS WORLD!Chops a close second and Rita's atmosphere AWESOME!!!!

The shows Chicago,Blue planet,(WE DID NOT SEE) was not for us,we felt there was so much to do other than being seated in a theater when there was so much outside stuff to do,we did hear they were great(just not our thing)there truly was never a dull moment,we did have beautiful weather all 8 days and the 3 port days AWESOME,we did one excursion on Bahamas the Dolphin encounter WAS AMAZING!!A MUST DO!!!!

The ship itself BEAUTIFUL.The room staff cleaned 3 times a day, everyday, when we needed anything it was brought with a smile and a greeting,I cannot express the gratitude to RCCL for making this a cruise we WILL NEVER FORGET and you have two new cruising addicts as we plan on booking another cruise in near future,I see no reason to sail on any other line, they may be great, but EVERYTHING you could possibly need or want ALLURE has it!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D8

The only negative thing I can come up with is the size of bathrooms, toilets and showers being a bigger guy 250+ was a little tight, but I am a bit overweight and only gives me incentive to lose a few lbs for our next cruise....
