Yes, Carnival's Inspiration is an older ship, however maintained quite nicely. I've read a lot of posts and spoken to many experienced cruisers. We really appreciate all of the valuable information, too. That's one of the reasons that we chose the 3-Day out of Long Beach.

Santa Catalina is a beautiful laid back port along with Ensenada is a small and tranquil... do what you wanna do kind of place. Yes, we went on a couple of tours and then went back to the ship and relaxed.

The highlight was the service on board. We could not ask for more. Oh sure, being the in the penthouse was fantastic, but if you can't host a party while having the most exquisite accomodation on the ship, what good is being there. We met many very sociable people and made friends, so we did it... on Formal Night, we had MaryAnne, our Steward help me put together an open house. Had some wine and sodas and some food... just about 15 people and had some music... had a blast !! --- oh, by the way, if you leave your front door open, expect to get some extra people to show up... that's even more fun !

Cabin Review

Cabin OS

PH1 has sleeping for up to eight, but a huge king size bed in the bedroom. Walk in closet, double sink vanity and a huge pink hot tub for a bathtub. The living room bar area with TV room makes a very nice sized room for an open house... yes, we did it. We had at least 15 people in there at one time. Do it on the formal night and drink a lot... you'll have a blast! Definitely worth it.
