There were a few things we didn't like, such as the constant way they tried to nickle and dime you to death. The unavailability of tea and lemonade made it clear that paying for the drink package was the way to go. On the promenade deck, water was the only cold beverage available(without an additional charge). The promenade deck, although beautiful, became cheap and gaudy with tables full of junk for sale. Loud and annoying announcements claimed amazing deals for one hour only. The one hour unfortunately became five days. The soft serve ice cream machine was located in one spot with very limited hours. Ben and Jerry's had much better hours, but cost extra money. The only other complaint, the temperature of the pools were frigid, only children were brave hearted enough to use them. They need to heat their pools! That being said, here is the good stuff!
The main dining room, gorgeous. The waiters, wonderful(especially Gabriel and Elvis). The food, good to very good. We loved the delicious fresh fruit! The room, clean and roomy(we had a junior suite). Although our 6 foot tall son had to lay diagonally on the sofa bed, it is not made for adults. We thoroughly enjoyed room service for breakfast. Very good selection. The room attendant was super friendly and helpful. She gave us ice daily, we only asked once. She made us two towel animals, loved it! All three shows were very good, make time to see them. Recreation was more than adequate. We also liked the 3-D movie. All employees were very nice and friendly.
Port & Shore Excursion Reviews
FalmouthWe went on the Taste of Jamaica, Good Hope, Great House tour. Our guide was much like an elementary school teacher. He would chastise us if he thought we were not listening or giving him our full attention. Didn't really care for that, but he was somewhat entertaining and informative. The tour of the home was ok, we were promised more of the tour after lunch. It never happened. The food was good and different from the norm, except for the dessert. It was a vanilla cupcake with a dab of cream cheese frosting. Not very interesting. The shopping was very limited at the Great House. If you walked across the road to the place were the artisan was working, you found a very American sounding and looking person who did the pottery. I'm not saying he wasn't a Jamaican, just an observation. The bus overheated, but the driver quickly handled the situation. His words, "I put the lime in the coconut, but forgot to put water into the radiator."View All 1,150 Falmouth Cruise Port Reviews

LabadeeLabadee was beautiful. We swam at Columbus Cove. The beach was not too crowded. A gentleman walked around selling drinks but was not pushy or annoying. Beach attendants (bring ones for tips) asked if they could get a chair for you, again not too pushy. The locals were a little annoying trying to sell merchandise, but only if you approached them. The food provided by RC was better than adequate. The ocean was gorgeous!View All 1,455 Labadee Cruise Port Reviews
