Great cruises: Celebrity Silhouette Cruise Review by dianecc

Embarkation: Rome (Civitavecchia)
I have cruise on different cruise lines, about 8 of them doing 40 cruises in the past 20 years. From the first one in 1976 on the Oceanic, things have changed a lot.
For the people that complain about the extra fees you have to pay, just imagine how much you pay, when you stay in a hotel. Room fees, 3 meals a day, and if you dont like what you ordered, you still have to pay for it and not on a cruise ship where they will be happy to give you something else. Any drinks on land you have to pay. On a ship at least, some are free, juices, tea, coffee, milk. you can find something to eat, 20 hours a day and order anytime you want in your room, and there are no charges except a tip, which you would More still give in a hotel. free shows, where do you get that free.
there are so many things to do, if you are bored, well you have a problem, from lecturers, dancing, pool, lessons, dance classes and others, what else can you ask for and they are all free. I still think cruising is the best way to travel and see the world without unpacking.
Some of the cruise lines I would not go back, but Celebrity and Royal are my favorites Less
Cabin review: 2D7164 Deluxe Veranda (obstructed view)
Closet on every level is terrible, there is no space to put your clothes and also, you have to be 6 feet tall or more to get to your clothes or you have to get on the bed, not 20 years old anymore. This is a major problem. I have been on 4 different floors in the last 6 cruises on Silhouette and never had any problemseRead All Deluxe Veranda (obstructed view) (2D) Reviews >>
