Red Sea Majic

Sail Date: February 2013
Destination: Middle East
Embarkation: Safaga
We joined the Celebration on the 28 of February at Sh-arm El Sheik and we where not disappointed. From the quick embarkation to getting our cabin was first class. Its a pity THOMSON flights are not the same!

We took this cruise with my brother in law and his wife as we particularly wanted to go to Petra and boy we where not disappointed Petra is awesome. We at first thought that the trips where expensive but when you way up how far Petra is and your entry fees and a first class lunch at a five star hotel it is about right, and of course if anything happens they will get you back on board.

Now having sailed on the Thomson Destiny on her last voyage where a little apprehensive about the Celebration after reading some of the reviews but all our fears where in vain as for us the Celebration was far more friendlier and the accommodation better then the Destiny. We had a inside cabin on the fourth deck witch had been refurbished and was more then adequate.

The food on More board was to say the least superb a pity our hotel after was not the same. The crew on this ship also could not be faulted. All in all a excellent cruise which i would recommend. The only downside with this trip is Thomson flights as you can not get a in flight meal anymore on short haul flights?five to six hours short haul?you can only buy snacks which are rubbish and half the time they have run out of what you want! Cabin review: 338

Cabin no 338 on the fourth deck small but adequate with all the amenities you need
