My husband and I are both 51 yrs. old, our 2nd cruise ever, last one the Norwegian Jewel in 2012. Cruise was during school vacation, surprisingly the ship did not seem to have many children on-board. Very quiet.

Embarkation from Tampa, quick - we were on ship by 12 noon.

Our mid-ship minisuite 11080 was ready by 1:30pm. The room was slightly different than the mid-ship minisuite on the Jewel. Basic set up was the same, but there were only 2 drawers for storage vs. 4 on the Jewel. However, the closet space was plenty for the two of us and included two robes in the closet. Room was very clean and had a couch, coffee table, a square table with one chair, safe, fridge, and coffee maker. The balcony had 3 chairs and we felt had more than enough privacy. We did not have a problem with smelling cigarette smoke from the ship on the balcony, but did have one neighbor who went out on their balcony 2 or 3 times out of the whole cruise to have a smoke. We just shut the sliding door and no problems! There was occasional noise on the upper deck from moving chairs, but this did not interfere with our rest. You can hear poolside music out on the balcony, but not in the room. Simply this room was very enjoyable and we have booked it for a future cruise.
