Sail Date: Jun 2009

From the moment we walked up the ramp until the day we arrived back, we had the most wonderful time of any of our 7 cruises so far. The ship was beautiful, the crew and staff were friendly , professional and accommodating. This was a 12 day sail to the Baltic with the highlight for us... a trip to St. Petersburg, Russia where my husband celebrated his birthday.

We enjoyed a Grand Suite just 3 doors down from the Concierge Club mid ship. Not too close to be disturbed, but close enough to run in for some goodies ! We've had similar suites on Carnival (Cat 12) but no real extra perks other than boarding early and quickly...well. early anyway !

The ports of call were fabulous except for Copenhagen....couldn't dock due to bad weather. Sailing into Stockholm was magical with all the little islands, and birds.....like a dream ! Helsinki, Oslo and Tallinn, Estonia were great as well. Many varied excursions to book in all the ports . We were happy with them all, well worth the money and no worry about getting back to the ship on time.

Cabin Review

We had a Grand Suite. Mid ship 3 doors away from the Concierge Club which was a plus ! Not noisy or busy but convenient to both the elevators and the Club with all it's goodies ! Large double balcony, good size suite nicely appointed, very comfortable.
