Sailed on Jewel of the Seas 8/30/06 on the Baltic itinerary.

Arrived in London the morning before and got a great prepaid rate at the Renaissance Heathrow hotel. Took the Heathrow Express on the visit London pass in the afternoon (16GBP round trip after 1 pm). Another CC member arranged transfer to Harwich with Silver Fleet for 8 of us.

Left at 7:30, stopped in London for 4 of the group and arrived at the ship around 10:45. Easy check in, no lines. We had been on the JOS in March so we knew what a beautiful ship it is. Able to get in our aft Balcony cabin around 12:45. We love the aft balconies, because the balconies are larger and you have a broader view than on the sides. Read more
