We are just back from a great week on Splendour 8/27 from Venice. The ship is in very good condition and has had a refit recently. We did not visit Turkey because of the troubles there recently but instead went to Dubrovnik, very pretty port.

Our inside cabin 2547 was excellent value, we booked this cruise late and did not have a lot of choice and since we have already had 3 cruises this year with RCCL in January/February on Radiance and Majesty we were very happy with the midship location of the cabin, our cabin steward Chris was very accommodating, he fetched me feather pillows and always changed our ice a few times a day. nothing was too much trouble to him.

Dining Room....we had second sitting on deck 5 table 139, we had excellent table mates 4 from England 2 ladies from New York and my daughter and I from Scotland. Our waiter was very nice, bus boy was not!! but this did not spoil our dining. Food is always the same, after 33 cruises with RCCL it gets a bit tiring, they need to change the menus more, there have been a few changes over the last few years, but I guess there is something for everyone. Windjammer..... this has been remodeled since our last cruise on Splendour 3 years ago, always lots of choice and no complaints at all.
