Every cruise I go on I think is the best one. Our Enchantment of the Seas 8/14/06 cruise was no exception.

We drove the hour from our home to Fort Lauderdale the night before the cruise and stayed at the Embassy Suites. We made it in time for happy hour at the hotel. We've stayed at this hotel before and love it. We took a taxi to Seasons 52 to eat dinner.

We drove our own car to the cruise port and parked there. Getting on board the next morning was fast and easy. We were there early and had a brief wait before they began boarding 15 minutes early. Contrary to what the cruise documents say, boarding time is normally 11AM.
