We had gone to NJ four days prior to the cruise to visit family, and on Saturday, August 5th we drove into New York from our daughter's home in arriving at the New York Cruise Terminal soon after 11:00 a.m. After quick goodbyes DH and I found our way into the terminal and were on board before long thanks to our being VIP in the Owners Suite and DH's need of wheelchair assistance. We were in the OS thanks to an upsell from a BA only four days before the cruise.

The Owners Suite was even more than wed expected. We were in the Madison Avenue Suite on the starboard forward corner of the ship. There was an entrance hall with a half bath to the right. The hall opened to a large room with the right side being the living room with sofa, lounge chair and other sitting chair with ottoman plus a TV. To the left was the dining room with a dining table and four chairs. This room also had the bar with refrigerator. Off this large room was the side balcony with sliding doors from both living and dining rooms. The balcony had a table with four chairs.

To the left of the dining room was the bedroom with a king size bed and another TV. There was a window and the solid door including the outer waterproof door to the front balcony with two lounge chairs and a small table.
