This was my family's first cruise.  As local Floridians it seemed natural for us to go on a cruise, so we sailed out of Port Canaveral on our 7 night cruise to the Western Caribbean.

Getting to the terminal was easy. Once we got there we got the VIP treatment due to our category stateroom, which got us on the ship in minutes. The crew was unbelievably excellent from the dining room staff to the stateroom steward, I can't believe how friendly and caring they were.

The stops in Cozumel, Belize City, Costa Maya and Nassau were all a lot of fun and well worth the money. Although of the four stops, I would say that Cozumel was the one on the bottom of the ranking. You see, Cozumel is still recovering from last year's Hurricane Wilma which destroyed Carnival Cruise Lines terminal and pier.
