What can one say about what was perhaps the best cruise, regardless of cost or length, which I have had the pleasure to participate. I am not sure what made this cruise so outstanding, other than everything seemed well planned, thought out and executed through out the entire trip. I have been on Celebrity, Carnival and Royal Caribbean, and while I like the level of sophistication offered by Celebrity, the overall package offered by this short 4 day trip to Mexico simply outweighed the other negatives I have experienced on the other lines. Previously on Carnival I felt the food, the staff and the atmosphere were simply second rate and more appropriate to Las Vegas than Monte Carlo, but this cruise experience has changed my opinion.

Now the specific Details:

Embarkation and Parking was a breeze. We drove over from Naples, and simply arrived at the port about 1pm. The porters were friendly, and helpful, and able to take the luggage straight from the car to the Cages where they transported it to the ship. We parked in the garage, and walked right to the ship. The embarkation was painless and fast, and we were walking onboard by 1:40. The embarkation was well run, and all the steps of getting a key to getting the sign and sail card photo were fast and painless. No huge lines.
