Our family, that is our 2 daughters and their husbands as well as my wife and I had 3 large verandah cabins for this totally delightful cruise experience. This was our first experience on Costa, and will not be our last.

From an extra ordinarily smooth embarkation in Venice, to all aspects of cabin management, to the wonderful meals and entertainment in the main dining room, to the staff in the buffet's (done mainly using numerous food stations as opposed to long lines of food troughs), the service people could not have been more pleasant and helpful. They also were very proactive in getting things done. This ship runs in a very crisp fashion, yet is a happy and helpful place to be.

The only negative was our stop in Dubrovnik where tenders were needed, and the management of that whole process with 2500 passengers could have been a great deal better organized. Basically a 5 hour stop was reduced to 2 hours totaling due to mismanagement of the disembarkation process, as well as the tour bus loading for the return in Old Dubrovnik. All other stops were excellent. We used the ship's excursions in Katakolon Greece (Olympia), which was excellent. The tour guide could not have been nicer, spoke perfect English and was very colorful in her stories that punctuated the historical facts within our tour.
