We were pleasantly surprised with our 1st cruise. A little nervous about 5 days across the Atlantic, but there was only one night (just before we got to the Azores) that the seas got quite rough. I put a travel sickness patch behind my ear and I was fine. My husband and two sons felt fine the whole trip.

The ship was clean, nicely decorated, very good service. I particularly enjoyed the shows at La Scala, and the Cruise director, Simeon, was funny and very welcoming.

I loved the Azores (Sao Miguel)...I recommend taking Taxi tours rather than the tours that are offered on board the ship. We were in a taxi and saw all the sights in most of the port stops and we paid approx. 100 euros for 4 hours and the taxis will accommodate 4-5 people.
