This was our 3rd cruise, but our first with Carnival. We arrived at Port Canaveral at approximately 11:30 a.m. and we were on the ship, eating in 20 minutes. The ship was suppose to leave port at 4:00 p.m., but did not leave until almost 6:00 p.m. We had the early seating (5:45) for dinner, which worked nicely since our 8 year old son was with us (his first cruise). The worst part of the cruise was the service in the Jubilee dining room. The headwaiter was pathetic! He provided wrong menus from previous days, we continuously had to ask for refills, and we even had to ask where our food was one night. The food was fair at best in the main dining room. The food in Windows by the Sea (buffet) was actually better than the main dining room.
Beds and pillows were very comfortable in our stateroom. We very seldom saw our room attendant, but when we did, he was courteous.
There were some pretty good comedians and other shows. The activities director was hilarious. Casino staff/dealers could have been friendlier. Some acted as if they didn't want to be there.
