This was my first cruise and probably my last, definitely last with Carnival. I went on this cruise with my girlfriend. We are both 25 and live in Chicago.
We decided to fly in on Friday so that we would not have to worry about being delayed. We flew Southwest from Chicago-Midway into Tampa. There were no problems with the flight. We stayed at the Wyndham Westshore. It was very close to the airport and they have free transfers. I got a room on the internet for 95 dollars. We went out that night in Ybor city. I heard it was a good time and wanted to check it out, definitely worth the time.
