We arrived at the port of Seattle (drizzling rain) and despite two sets of directions got lost on the way to the pier, no big deal, we found an extremely friendly police officer who helped us get back on track.

We did not stay in Seattle but drove down from Vancouver, BC early enough to board the ship about 12:30 pm. Line up was long but luckily we had Express check-in for 2 of the four in our cabin. All the information for my grandson was not even available on our booking number but the "Expediter" was great.

Once on board we went to our cabin but our steward was not there. He finally showed up just as we were about to leave the cabin. I was amazed that the Steward did not know our names, as all previous cruises the stewards knew who we were immediately, perhaps this was his first cruise, but he was not sociable or friendly either.
