This was our 12th cruise with RCCL and the second time to Hawaii on the Radiance. We were part of a great Cruise Critic group named the Pineapple Express with over 90 members signed up for the Meet & Mingle.

We drove in from Long Beach CA to board at San Diego. Embarkation went very good with just a short wait. The Radiance was in very good shape which is why it is our favorite ship. All of the crew and staff were extremely efficient and friendly. And the captain, Rune Lokling was always jolly and funny when giving his announcements. The cruise director, Kieron Buffery did an excellent job with the ship board activities and was a great singer himself.

We did not go to any of the main production shows because we always went to the Colony Club to listen to Santino & Blackjax who were the most entertaining singer and band we have every seen on any cruise ship.
