Let me start this by saying that my dh and I booked this very late. This was an unplanned vacation that came up because my good friend found this deal, and I mean deal, for us to take a 3 night cruise out of SF. We live just south of SF, and felt it was too good to pass up. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, and felt we got money's worth. Embarkation went very smoothly. We boarded early and enjoyed a leisurely lunch by the pool, while the kids swam in the pool. It was a rare warm day on the Bay, and we took advantage of it.

We have sailed Princess before (Sapphire to Mexico in 10/05) so we knew what we could expect. This time we had an inside cabin and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was. Because we got such a good deal, we had 2 cabins for our family of 4. The cabins were clean, although the bed linens looked a little worn. My room had much storage space and was ample room for 2 people. The balcony room my friend had was more cramped. Our shower was even bigger than the shower we had on Sapphire in a Balcony room.

We took the advice of other CC members and found the deserted Baja deck at the front of the ship and watched us sail under the Golden Gate from there. It was perfect as we had this deck to ourselves. Thank you cruise critic.
