We arrived at San Diego a day early. no problems checking in early at the Marriott on Harbor Drive. What a pretty place and wonderful room.

We knew up front that embarkation was going to be bad and CCL did not disappoint us. It was truly terrible. However we were bus no 8 to leave S.D. and we had a bus driver that was in a big hurry so we passed everything on the road we could. Boy some of those cliffs gave me a chill!

Going thru Mexico and customs was a breeze. I have never seen such poverty, no wonder why they all want to come to the States. When we arrived in Ensenada we even jumped in line there as well. It's a good thing because it was nasty cold by this time and I was hungry and needed to use a john that worked and didn't stink to high heaven. So needless to say we where one of the first to board the Spirit and we watched from our suit after that the loads of buses come in -- 52 in all. And nobody getting off was a happy camper!
