I am not going to persuade anyone that this is the best cruise ever, or indeed that it is as good as Celebrity or RCCL, because it is not, however then again it costs nothing like a cruise with those companies.

I have found in my 10 years of cruising that everything is about expectation. Expect the best and get something less, then one is disappointed. We have typically cruised with Celebrity and RCCL and have always been happy with them, however last year we decided on a cruise with HAL on the Zuiderdam and spent the most money on a cruise ever. We were desperately disappointed and as a result was reluctant to spend that kind of money again. In fact, this cruise was the cheapest we had ever cruised for, in fact our balcony cabin was less than an inside with Celebrity.
