We just got back recently from a Mexican Riviera cruise on the Carnival Pride ship.

We had booked a suite so we had VIP embarkation. This was probably the best decision we made. We probably saved about two hours not having to wait on line. We showed our tickets to one of the employees and were taken to a separate room and were on the boat in about half an hour. The only thing we didn't like is that we were told our room wasn't ready yet. We decided to look for ourselves and found that the room was ready so we were glad we didn't have to drag our carry on luggage everywhere.

The suite was disappointing. It was smaller than I expected and had no curtain separating one area of the room from another. There was only ONE OUTLET in the whole suite and no clocks. We had to keep turning the tv on to see what time it was. The bathroom was pretty nice, but the whole suite really needs to be redone. The carpet looked worn and the whole suite looked dated. We also had very inconsiderate people who let their kids run around in the room over us until 1:30am and later.
