This was our 4th cruise and our 3rd with Princess. Overall, this cruise was wonderful. Our most memorable cruise by far has been Alaska on the Dawn Princess.
We flew down to Ft. Lauderdale the night before and stayed at Hampton Inn Airport North. We never travel on the embarkation day. We can sleep in a little and enjoy the complementary breakfast, take it easy till time to head to the port.
We arrived at Port Everglades a little after 11am and had to wait for the embarkation to start. When they opened the lines at about 11:45, we headed for the Caribe Deck Express check in. We were on the boat at noon. Embarkation process was super. However, we're very familiar with the process and had our cruise tickets, passports and credit card ready.
