We have just returned from our 12th cruise. (9th with Carnival). The Conquest is absolutely beautiful! A bit larger than we like, but well laid out. Our cabin was directly beneath the galley and it sounded like there was a bowling tournament going on at about 2:00 am every night. That was my fault because I booked a cabin without doing enough research. Enough about that. I did the tour to Tulum while we were docked in Cozumel, another big mistake. It took 1 1/2 hours just to reach Playa Del Carmen on the ferry, then a 30 min. bus ride( not counting a twenty minute tourist trap stop). We finally arrived at the ruins, only to be told that we only had 20 minutes to spend there! Naturally we had to repeat this process to return to the ship. Never again! We did the highlights in Montego Bay, and were disappointed there as well. We had been in Grand Cayman before, so we just did a little shopping. Also, I long for the days when we handed our gratuities to 'our' service people directly. I think that made ALL the difference in our service. The entertainment was very good. The food fair. Over all it was a good trip, but not one I would take again.
