This was the 3rd cruise my husband and I had ever taken and the first time we hadn't taken a Carnival cruise. We booked our own travel and had family take us to Port Everglades.

The port was HUGE, but there was adequate support staff and labeling to allow us to easily find our ship. We arrived after the "rush" (about 1:30) so we were on the ship in under 15 minutes. We had an inside cabin that was smaller than on our previous cruises but was nicely decorated.

Our cabin steward was very attentive to our needs and knew us by name within a few hours. The bed was very comfortable and the halls were quiet allowing us a good night sleep. The ship was beautifully decorated and there was amazing art work throughout.
