Let me start off by saying that this was mine & my husbands first cruise so we dont have anything to compare it to. That said, it couldnt have been a better experience for us from beginning to end!
We flew into Fort Lauderdale Sunday morning and were met by extremely friendly & helpful greeters who guided us in the right direction. After we had all assembled together we were herded out to a bus where we had a quick 10 minute drive to the port. My parents (who were also traveling with us) had filled out the paperwork online so they went to the express check-in. My husband & I forgot to fill out the paperwork online so we went to the other line. Much to my parents chagrin, our line was MUCH shorter & moved MUCH quicker! So much for express check-in! And then, within one hour of our plane landing, we were onboard having our first drink of champagne! Ahhh& the relaxation began!
We checked into our stateroom a little bit before 1:00 & were greeted by our stateroom attendant, Rene. We only made one request of him throughout the cruise but it was answered promptly. My husband & I wondered if there was some hidden camera in the hallway somewhere because it seemed that wed just leave our room for less than a half hour in the morning & wed come back to a cleaned room! He & his attendant were both great & so swift!!! We were extremely impressed with our stateroom. We had expected much smaller with no storage space. It was a beautiful room with mirrors all along the wall which made it appear larger. We had a balcony which we thoroughly enjoyed & will never have a room without one! So much storage that we didnt even use it all and we WAY over packed!!!
