We arrived to the port at San Pedro at 10:30am, people were still getting off the ship . and there were no porters to be found. It was mad chaos, When it was time to get on, there was still no porters and we couldn't go on unless they took our luggage.. after about 1:30pm finally my husband chased down a porter gave him 20 and said please come get our luggage.. so he did. After that nightmare, we arrived on the Star. Registration was a breeze.. they call you by number so you can sit and wait, it didn't take more than 30 minutes.. We arrived on the ship and she is beautiful. Our room had a framed balcony, which was still nice. the bed was very comfortable with feather down blankets they put on the bed at night time. We slept the best we ever had while on vacation, the room was a lil small in my opinion but it was good for the 2 of us

The ship has an easy layout and it was very easy to navigate in. We were only lost a few times

We ate at Teppanyaki and it was nice , it was worth the extra money. It reminded me of Benihana and the Ginza was also good for the price. We mostly ate at the buffet and Blue Lagoon (24 hr) burgers, fish and chips. etc. The buffet was the best buffet we have ever eaten at on a ship. A lot of choices, and fresh food. excellent
