For the sake of simplicity, I'm only going to focus on the things which I disliked. I've been on three Royal Caribbean cruises before this and I wish I had forked up the extra money to take a cruise that I know I loved and enjoyed. I was extremely disappointed in many aspects of this vacation and have decided after only one cruise that I will never sail Carnival again.

Food- Is terrible! The food in the dining room is bland and at times not hot or not cooked entirely. I'm pretty sure that what they presented as filet mignon was not in fact that but some other piece of the meat. The lines in the Red Sail Restaurant for the buffet were always long and the food was not good there either although I don't expect buffet food to be excellent. The sandwiches we ordered for room service were a joke, I needed three of them to constitute a full meal. The free sushi was NOT real sushi. the best thing on the ship was the black forest cake at Creams, which you have to pay for.

Service is mediocre- not terrible but they don't go out of their way for you. For example, on Royal Caribbean, when you order lobster or shrimp, your waiter will actually take the meat out of the shell for you.
