Just got back from an absolutely awesome vacation on Carnival Victory. Contrary to some things that I'd read regarding how "generic" Carnival was, it was the best vacation my husband, children and I have ever had. From the moment we boarded, we felt all the staff was into making sure that we have an enjoyable, relaxing time.

We were able to get a great deal on a family style suite on the Spa deck. These cabins are spacious and had quite a bit of closet space (we are a family of 4 with 2 teen daughters). Our room steward, Adam was incredible and the minute we stepped out of our cabin, he was in and performed miracles. The towel animals that are placed in the cabins brought chuckles and of course, we had to take a picture for the folks back home.

The dining room service is excellent. When I mentioned to the maitre'd that we had hoped for a shared table with perhaps other teens, he was able, despite the fact he was bombarded with numerous questions/concerns, to place us to another table. Read more
