This was the first time for us on a ship that size. Being a new ship everything was clean and ready to go but I feel that the crew was a bit intimidated by the number of passengers. This was as I understand the first time the ship had all berths booked which seemed to be more people than the crew was used to handling.
The dining room staff was excellent but the food was not up to Carnival standards both in quantity and appearance. At the buffets in the morning for the first three days the food was cold and very poor quality. As the week went on they seemed to correct most of those problems as the cooks seemed to get into the swing of things.
The rooms were great and the bedding is to kill for. We have since ordered a set of the bedding and it is helping make the winter months pass a little faster.
