The Jewel of all the cruise ships My wife and I just completed a cruise on the Norwegian Jewel, and I have to tell you all, this ship is the best we have ever cruised on. This was the 12th cruise we have been on and by far the best. I am writing this because I booked this cruise and a few weeks before we left I came across this sight and many of the reviews made us wonder if we had made a big mistake, with great pleasure I am glad to say, we did not make a mistake!

1. This ship is just tremendous, the concept NCL has is by far the best idea I have seen on any ship we have been on. The casual dining is fantastic and enables you to do everything at your own pace. Restaurants over all were quite good with Cagneys Steak house a true favorite. They all are good when compared to anything else we have found on other ships. The bars and lounges on this ship are really in a class by themselves and just beautiful. Entertainment really good in the show room, bands vary a bit through the rest of the ship, from fair to quite good.

2. The room; we had a room on the back of the ship that was very good,as were the stewards and cleaning people. Our room came with Butler service and Korand the butler could not have been better. Korand was the finest person I have ever met on a ship, he just went out of his way daily to make us comfortable and able to truly relax. All of the crew and help on this ship are first class. Getting on and off the ship was very quick and easy for these times we live in. The only tender service needed was at NCL's island and it was done right. I wrote this review because maybe when the ship first came out there were some problems because of being new, but I was on her last week and my next cruise with a few lifelong friends will be on the Jewel, or another NCL ship.
