I found the MSC Opera to be a beautiful ship with great potential; however MSC has several issues that need to be resolved before it can provide an enjoyable cruise experience.
I was looking forward to a relaxing and rewarding cruise based on the information I received from my travel agent and various web sites that critique cruises. The itinerary seemed great. The itinerary and the price was my major reason for choosing MSC, which I was unfamiliar with.
However the cruise was filled with disappointment. One of the major issues was communication. This became obvious when I first boarded the ship and realized that my dining requests had been completely ignored and I had to stand in line for thirty minutes or more to get them changed. MSC did fulfill my request by the following day.
