We traveled as a group of 6 with 3 cabins 8103, 8107 and 4192. Everyone had a great time. After reading the last couple of reviews here it is hard to believe we were on the same ship. I found the Spirit to be a beautiful ship, I also enjoyed the fact that every area of the ship is decorated in a different style.

Embarkation was a breeze, especially considering that the port in San Diego is not very well set-up for cruise ships (although I understand that the city plans to make some major changes this year). We arrived at the port at 11a.m. and were on the ship at about noon enjoying cocktails and lunch.

The 1st day at sea was a little chilly but not impossible for sun bathing. By day 2 we were enjoying tropical warmth and that continued until the last day as we got closer to California.
