We returned home from a cruise on the Liberty 01-21-06 and our experience was such that I must write. Having been on 4 other Carnival cruises this was by far the most disappointing vacation we have ever taken. The problems we encountered are.

Not enough open deck space to accommodate the passenger load. All available deck chairs taken by 10:00 AM most with just towels or shoes on them to hold for later use.

Dining room dress code was nowhere near being enforced. Shorts and sandals at dinner? Jeans and T-shirts for formal night? This really took the ambiance we were used to on other Carnival cruises to very low level. Read more
