This was the first cruise my family and I had ever been on. We're a family of four consisting of two parents, one undergraduate student, and one law student. We have also not been on very many 'tropical' vacations, as one of us is not a fan of beaches. Therefore, going on the cruise, we were a bit unsure if everyone would enjoy it. However, everyone in our family feels it was the best vacation we've ever taken and are already searching for next year's cruise.
I apologize for the length of this, but when I was researching this cruise, I couldn't get enough information about the ship. If you have any other questions about this cruise, feel free to email me. Some of this might seem kind of redundant if you've been on many cruises, but if you're a first-timer, hopefully this answers some of your questions.
We flew from Chicago to Miami. Being from Chicago, we're used to busy airports, but MIA takes the cake. Crowded and unsurprisingly full of tourists- I'd recommend flying into Ft. Lauderdale and commuting down to the port in Miami if you have the time.
