In general we had a lovely trip on this beautiful Princess Ship. Service and food were the best, and the ship was very clean. We had a stateroom with balcony and we liked it (except the very tiny shower, but falling over was not possible so that was an advantage...). Cabin was cleaned 2 times a day. Entertainment needs some comment. The shows and external artists were all very good (we liked the juggler on a moving ship, very entertaining). The entertainment team however didn't manage to keep the party going once it started, but dropped out after an hour to entertain themselves. This was very annoying! The DJ did his best, but our opinion is that an entertainment team should be there and entertain from 5 - 12 in the evening. We took several shore excursions: * 4 WD adventure and Dunns River Falls in Jamaica: lots of fun, nice guide, and the climb of the falls was marvellous. Watch your stuff near Dunns River, our guide did that for us. * Chagres River Cruise and Nature walk in Panama, plus visit to Gatun Locks. The nature walk took 30 minutes with a heard of elephants through the forest. You don't get to see a lot of animals like this. The river cruise was nice, we saw Howler Monkees, Sloth, Toucan, Iguana and some Herons. The Gatun Locks are nice if you didn't get up early to see it on the ship. We went through the emergency doors on Baja Deck front and had a first class view of the locks. We would suggest another excursion. We enjoyed the little ride through Colon as a real harbour city with brothels and gambling on the streets. Not a city you are going to be walking around on your own! * Sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica was nice, they do a good job conserving these animals. The walk and kayak was a ripoff. You don't kayak yourself, and it only took 20 minutes (it was raining, but that didn't bother us). The walk took even shorter. It was not worth the $ 96 per person! If you want to see sloth, go to the park in Limon, they are in the trees there! * Cayman Island island highlights and Stingray Snorkeling. Good tour. We saw Georgetown, Seven Mile Beach, Hell, a rum factory with tasting, a turtle hatchery where you can hold them yourself, and we snorkeled the Stingrays. The photographer is not from Princess, so the pictures are expensive (2 for $30). Take your own camera! * Dolphin Adventure in Puerto Aventuras. Highlight of the cruise. The Cozumel site is badly damaged from hurricane Wilma, so we were taken with the tender to Playa del Carmen. Enjoyed this trip enormously!! We had a very good time on and off this ship. We can recommend this cruise!
