Took my daughter on the Mexican Riviera Cruise for the Christmas Holiday. This was my 14th cruise and my daughter's 3rd. We arrived in Los Angeles (LAX) on 12/24/05 and was greeted by a friendly agent from Princess Cruise lines. We had pre-purchased transfers which made it much more convenient. Within 1 hour we were on the ship. Embarkation was simple and fast. Very well organized and quick.

When we entered the ship we were greeted by a quartette singing Christmas carols and the atrium was all decked out beautifully for Christmas. We made out way to our cabin which was a mini-suite. Nice room however much smaller then we expected. Smaller then most mini-suite category rooms, however well appointed. Our Cabin Stewart, Ignacio, was great and was right there as soon as we walked into the room.

Within the hour, our luggage found its way into our room only to find that the baggage handlers had broken one of the wheels on a brand new piece of luggage. I notified Ignacio, who had me fill out some paper-work then he took the luggage to be repaired. The next morning we found the luggage outside out stateroom fixed and as good as new.
