We just returned from the 10 day Xmas Cruise, which was our 9th on Princess and 11th overall. We loved it.

Getting there

We were concerned about the length of tine it would take to get there and the uncomfortable trip ahead of us. If you fly Air Tahiti Nui, have no fears. While the coach seats are not much bigger than standard airline seats, they are more comfortable, have individual video screens with 6 movies and video games to play and the flight attendants kill you with kindness. Besides the 2 meals they serve (we flew Tahiti-NY nonstop), they are constantly coming thru the cabin with water, drinks, eye masks, socks, pillows, etc., and the food is actually good (based on airline food). Despite some of the horror stories I read about Faaa Airport, the arrival and departure in Papeete were actually smooth and pleasant. The Ship
