We just got back from a cruise to Nassau, CocoCay, and Key West. This was my first cruise, and we travelled with my parents, my sister's family, and my own family. In all, there were 11 in our party. Overall, we really enjoyed our time on the cruise. I'll give my day by day break-down below.

Embarkation was a breeze. We arrived in Miami the night before sailing, and arrived at the Port at 11:00 am. We were eating at the Windjammer Cafe on-board by 11:30. We walked around the ship to become familiar with it, and went to settle into our staterooms on the 2nd deck. (There was NO smell that I've read about in other reviews)

The only hiccup we had was that a small plane crashed into the channel that would allow us to exit the Port of Miami the very afternoon that we were set to depart. Obviously, we had to stay in Miami longer than expected. We did eventually leave the next day at around 6:00pm. RCI was great about handling the problem. They even arranged to allow passengers to go back ashore and visit Miami. We spent Tuesday on-board the ship drinking at the pool. Unfortunately at this point, Nassau had to be cancelled due to the plane crash.
