We had an absolutely wonderful week onboard the Explorer of the Seas.

Embarkation: Embarkation went fairly smoothly. When we arrived they handed out a notice stating that they would not be going to Cozumel due to the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma. For us though, this came as no surprise since it was taken out of the itinerary quite awhile ago. We were lucky enough to get priority check-in since we booked an OS but since we arrived so early there wasn't a long line to check in. They did serve juice and cookies which was nice.

Our Stateroom: Our stateroom was amazing!! It was so beautiful and with so much space. Since we traveled with our 2 daughters ages 8 and 16 we needed the extra space. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I think they replaced many of the mattresses on their drydock. The kids were comfy in the queen size sofa bed. The bathroom again was huge with double vanity sink and a jacuzzi tub. It had a stand in shower as well. Our stateroom attendant Derry was awesome- he was so meticulous in cleaning everything and those towel animals were just too cute! He worked very hard and we tipped him extra cause he truly deserved it.
