GENERAL COMMENT: This was a Thanksgiving Cruise. Although there were lots of kids on board, we never really saw them until the last day. Maybe because we did not hang out at the pool very much, but we did not have a problem with kids. We expected the worse and were pleasantly surprised.

DEPARTURE EMBARKATION FROM GALVESTON: (Sunday): We got there about 11:30 and we on the boat by 11:55. We had a junior suite, and we had priority check-in. My husband is a Canadian, so they had to check his INS card or we would have been on board the Rhapsody sooner. But, all in all, it was relatively quick. We went to the Windjammer for lunch and found our room by 1:00PM.

STATEROOM: We booked a junior suite and it was great. It has a bathtub. There were only two of us, so there was plenty of room for us. Our steward (Dave Narcisso from Nicaragua) was not as attentive as other stewards. We had to ask more than once for extra towels (he did not bring them). He left a dirty teacup in our room for a couple of days. The refrigerator was dirty when we got there. He left a dirty soda glass in the room and just put the coaster on top of it (with day old soda in it). He probably just had an off week. We complained on Wednesday, and our service was 150% better after that.
