***The highlight of this cruise was our shore excursion in Belize. I took an extra step in booking our excursion prior to cruising and boy did it pay off. I booked through a company available on the internet with most any search for cave tubing Belize. The name of the company is Ecological Tours and Services otherwise known as Wet & Wild Cave tubing. You can also find them at " www.belizeshoretours.com ". Marvin Deras ran the show from the minute we arrived on shore and was extremely curious and helpful. As we waited for another group to get off the ship some hour behind us, he gave us suggestions on places to shop and even came looking for us when we were ready to go! From there we boarded an air conditioned mini bus and Charlie was our tour guide. He did a wonderful job pointing out all the important landmarks, and added some humor along the way sharing some stories of past trips. He provided us with all the information we would need to have a great experience and a fun safe trip on the jungle hike and our cave exploration on the river! *Here's the added bonuses, first of all we saved money, about $30 per person!!! Then, since we were not on the cruise tour, we walked and extra 10 minutes up the trail to an additional cave (the cruise tour tubes though 3 caves and we went through 4!) So basically we had more time, an additional cave and we even could make an exciting jump off a 10-12 ft cliff into the river!!! Or you could step in the slow way and go in from the river bank. From there we drifted and paddled our way down the river inside the caves, spending about an hour completely in a dark river cave was AWESOME! There was just enough people to be comfortable, and just few enough not to feel over crowded. (please note that because we went to an extra cave we left most of the crowd in front of our group making for a more memorable trip for my group! After out 1 hr and 30 minute trip down the river, we ate lunch at the local eatery there on the camp/tubing site. Wow, what great food! For a picnic type lunch, the bbq chicken, garlic bread, and salad sure hit the spot. the trip was a great success, great guides, and manager in Marvin. He even made sure that when we got back to port, that we made it to the correct pick-up for our cruise ship since there were 3 others in port that day! What a guy! Thanks, Marvin!

P.S. Don't for get an underwater camera w/ FLASH, we got some great pictures!!!! The cruise was a great trip as well, the Glory as expected was larger than any boat I have personally been on. You can't go wrong though for being that all 6 of the Carnival cruises I've been on have similar deck plans and most everything is located in about the same spots!

Our times with our friends were highlighted at dinner, of course you can't go wrong with all you can eat, ad in some drinks, and even the dinner entertainment was good. I enjoy the casino, wish there were poker tables though.
