Sail Date: Nov 2005

Just returned from the 3 night Majesty of the Seas to Coco Cay and Nassau. I will start from the beginning. There were 3 couples, 1 who is Platinum with Royal Caribbean, 1 who never sailed and us, 1 other cruise on Grandeur. Flight with American Airlines, no problems with take off, luggage was waiting for us when we got off the plane in Miami. Since there were six of us we could not take a cab, so it was between a mini van at $10/pp to the Royal Caribbean for $12. we went with Royal Caribbean because they took the luggage and we did not have to deal with it. Got to the port about 10:30A. Started boarding about 11, we were in the Windjammer having lunch and a cold drink by 11:45A. Rooms were not ready til 1. Not a big deal, we had all packed our bathing suits. but by the time we were done eating we went to our room. Luggage was there in time to change for dinner.

I could definitely tell the Majesty was smaller then the Grandeur but we knew that going in. I think the menus in the main dining room was smaller also. Had a great waiter, DWI (Duey) he was wonderful, as well as his assistant jerome. Could not have had better service. We ate dinner in the dining room every night. breakfast 2 out 3 days. I had heard the board about the sewer smell, I did smell that all over the ship but never in my room. Rooms are smaller, but with just 2 of us, no problem, no problem with the clothes either, but most of my stuff I either hung up or left in the suitcase and we stored them under the bed.

Coco Cay was nice, seen a lot of fish, a couple stingrays. people said they saw a barracuda I did not see it though- probably would not have known if I had seen it. There were quite a few jellyfish, I did not hear of anyone getting stung. The water was kinda rough made snorkeling tiring. But we seen what we wanted so we were happy. My brother (39) went down the slide a couple of times he loved it. Did not do the aqua park but it seems smaller from when we went in 6/04. Food was fine, like how they drive around with Beer in the carts, makes the beer stay cold.
