Embarkation was a breeze compared to New Orleans. We arrived at 10:30 and after a 30 minute wait, we were the 4th group aboard. There was a separation of Latitudes and non-latitudes members. Our room was not quite ready so we went up to the Garden Cafe for lunch. We went back to the room at 1pm and everything was satisfactory.

It was windy upon sail away and dampened the sail away party. We immediately hit 6 foot seas which progressed through to 12 foot throughout the next day. By Tuesday things had calmed down but the lack of information from NCL was on everyone's mind. While we were informed we were skipping Cozumel and PDC(no communication) that was as far as the information went.

Formal night was pretty good and we had our photo taken with the Captain. We had heard that NCL had changed vendors for photo and ship stores. Photo prices are still expensive but comparable to the vendor on Carnival.
