Food was a real disappointment. One passenger had sailed previously on Voyager, and remarked how the food quality had deteriorated. Windjammer/Island grill food was luke warm most times. French Toast had stale crust, pancakes were dried out and crunchy, hash browns were sometimes raw potato on the inside, scrambled eggs were quite honestly disgusting, tasted like egg beaters or another mix. Food in the main dining room was hit and miss - very repetitive. I was going to scream if I was served garlic mashed potatoes and mushy, overcooked asparagus one more time! Voyager kitchen staff could not produce a steak or beef dish that was not on the chewy side, chicken was often on the dry side. What a disappointment for RCCL!

Embarkation/Disembarkation was, in short, a nightmare. So bad, in fact, when several hundred passengers were waiting in Studio B for their luggage color code to be called, there was a spontaneous outburst of laughter and sarcasm when the Royal Caribbean rep announced over the intercom "Please remember to submit your review of our Service in the designated drop off boxes..."

Also - Voyager, despite her size, is not all that stable in rough seas. Sorry, what her new flat bottom hull design has gained in stability for side to side "roll", she has compromised with more shuddering and pounding from the waves, with more surface area presented to the sea. She is also subject to a surprising amount of pitch for her size - rising and falling quite noticeably in rough seas. We had 12-15 foot swells on the return leg, and the staff thoughtfully tucked barf bags into the railings in the corridor staircases. I would not travel on Voyager again. She is a pretty ship, with nice interiors - but the food, stability, and embarkation/disembarkation protocol were unsatisfactory.
