Sail Date: Sep 2005

Embarked from Cape Liberty, NJ, on Sept. 4, 2005, on our honeymoon cruise. After the first night, the captain announced we might see some rough seas and high winds due to Hurricane Nate which was south of Bermuda. He was right, the second night was somewhat rough but nothing over dramatic. Our main disappointment came upon landing in Bermuda. Our 2 day stay turned into a 5 hour bus tour. Apparently the officials in Bermuda asked the ship to depart that day because of the track of the hurricane. The Voyager is too big to sit in the shallow docks of Bermuda with 40mph winds. Disappointed yes, but at least they have safety in mind.

We had one glitch in the dining room due to an extremely rude family of 10 that didn't understand the whole "sharing a table" concept. I guess they never watched Love Boat! Aside from that, no complaints at all as far as food and dining are concerned. EXTREMELY friendly service staff!

Our stateroom attendant was absolutely wonderful. Our room was pristine every evening when we returned.
