This was my first cruising experience and I certainly enjoyed most of the nine days on the Vision of the Seas, Royal Caribbean line.

Cabin Storage: We both packed lightly and are neat, so the small quarters were adequate. Ladies, don't trust the golden lighting on the vanity mirror! The bathroom lighting is much more 'realistic' for checking makeup.

Lots of room under the bed but only about 6 inches from the floor, so bring luggage that isn't too "tall" when laying down and you'll extend your storage room extensively. Our closet was divided into three sections - one side was for long items like gowns and pants, the other side had two bars and accommodated shorter items like blouses and jackets. I was able to store my three suitcases (two inside the larger) on the tall side but my roommate had to keep hers on the small settee. A glass coffee table mostly just took up space we could have used to move around in.
