What a terrific cruise this turned out to be. Everything was better than we anticipated after reading some of the reviews. The cabin (1039) was great. If you can afford it a balcony is the only way to go. It's so spacious and romantic. The room was exactly as it appeared on the web site. There was so much storage room, that both my husband and I were able to empty our suitcases (large ones) and still had room to spare. The terry cloth robe was a nice touch. The king size bed was comfortable and had nice linens. (Ask for extra pillows, then it really seems luxurious.) The counter space is very large - you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you bring your own hair dryer, keep in mind you will need to dry your hair in the room, not the bathroom, as you can only plug in a razor in the outlet in there. The bathroom is large and has a caddy corner medicine chest, toiletries upon arrival and large mirror. The water pressure was heavenly.

Before I forget to mention it, everything is spotlessly clean on this ship. Also, Angel, our cabin steward, was always smiling and quick to respond to any request.

Keep in mind, you are allowed to bring Champagne and wine on board according to the rule book. Of course, my husband also brought on beer and some hard liquor as this really saves on the bar bill. Had I given it more thought, I would have taken on more than just two bottles of Champagne for a five day cruise. I forgot how good Champagne and orange juice go together in the morning (we ordered the breakfast tray every day, by just filling out the card and leaving it on the door - so convenient!)
