We flew from England the night before the cruise and stayed at the Intercontinental Miami. The rooms at the Intercontinental are very spacious and we can highly recommend this hotel, however, the pool at the back was a bit small. We were picked up from the hotel at 12:30 and arrived at the port 5 minutes later. Our baggage was taken straight from the coach and we queued outside the terminal for about 30 mins. Once inside we queued before security for about another 30 minutes. It took us about 2 hours to board the ship, even though we had priority boarding through staying in a Grand Suite.

The Ship -- We thought the ship was absolutely beautiful and I was happy to spend a few hours exploring on the first day. Of course, I stopped at the bars along the way for a glass of wine or two!

Our Stateroom -- We were very impressed with the Grand Suite and were delighted with the amount of storage it had. The bathroom was lovely as we also benefited from a bath and two sinks. Our stateroom attendant, Marvin, was great he seemed to appear from nowhere every time we left the suite to greet us. He also left the children a variety of towel animals each night.
